YouTuber Dies While Dancing at Durga Puja Jagran in UP’s Sitapur

A friend said Vikas's heartbeat had increased on the way to the jagran but he dismissed their advise to return home. Reports say his family cremated him without reporting the incident to the police

In a tragic incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur, a YouTuber named Vikas died while dancing at a jagran dedicated to Goddess Durga. Vikas was dancing to the DJ’s music when he suddenly collapsed. His friends rushed him to the Community Health Center, where doctors declared him dead.

Vikas had been creating short videos on YouTube for quite some time. On Monday night, he attended the jagran with his friends at a location some distance from his village.

A video of the incident has also surfaced online which shows Vikas collapsing while dancing at the event. Initially, onlookers were clueless about Vikas’s distress. When some of his friends tried to lift him, Vikas remained unresponsive.

Realising the seriousness of the situation, his friends took him to the nearest Community Health Center, where doctors declared him dead. His family also took him to a private hospital, where doctors confirmed his death.

The family said they had advised Vikas not to go out late at night, but he insisted on going.

Vikas’s friend Anup said the YouTuber’s heartbeat had increased on the way to the jagran, and they suggested him to return home, but Vikas did not listen to them.

While dancing, he felt dizzy, collapsed, and tragically lost his life. Reports say his family cremated him without reporting the incident to the police.
