‘Why Didn’t Canada Give Security to Nijjar Despite Meetings’: Indian Intelligence Sources Raise Questions | EXCLUSIVE

Sources said Hardeep Nijjar was in regular touch with the CSIS. He was advised not to step out in public but was not given enough security, sources said.

Why was Hardeep Nijjar not given security despite several meetings with Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS)? Questions have been raised by sources in the Indian authorities as to whether Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wanted to capitalise the killing of Khalistani terrorist Nijjar ahead of elections. Sources have said Trudeau named India without any confirmation.

Serious questions have been raised on the security of Nijjar. Sources said he was in regular touch with the CSIS. He was advised not to step out in public but was not given enough security, sources said.

According to sources, the statement of Nijjar’s son Balraj is crucial to support India’s claim that Pakistan’s ISI could be behind Nijjar’s killing. Balraj claimed he met senior CSIS officials just six days before Nijjar’s killing and another meeting was scheduled two days after his killing.

According to Balraj’s statement, he started meeting CSIS officials after February. He said the Canadian authorities told Nijjar he shouldn’t go to his gurdwara at his usual times, and he should avoid being seen in public.

Indian Intelligence agencies have raised serious questions as to why Nijjar was only advised and not protected. Sources said that if the Canadian intelligence agencies had inputs against Indian agents, why was protection not given to Nijjar?

Sources have said that in some way, Canadian authorities may have supported the ISI and gave access to killers, and have gone slow with investigation.

Trudeau Using Nijjar’s Killing?

Sources said that Nijjar was a top Khalistan Tiger Force commando and his killing is key for Canada-Khalistan narrative. Sources said Trudeau has put the blame on India just in time for elections next year.

“Nijjar profile’s suits Canadian PM to keep the Khalistani pot boiling for Sikh support. This is another proof of how Trudeau is playing with Khalistanis and ISI. Is the killing of high profile terrorists part of a plan,” sources questioned.
