Now, a video shows Virat Kohli’s doppelganger enjoying meals at the eating joint and how this event took his fellow visitors by surprise.
Be it Amitabh Bachchan’s or Shah Rukh Khan’s, lookalikes of celebrities often baffle commoners with their uncanny resemblance. Something similar happened when Kohli’s doppelganger Kartik Sharma pulled out what looked like a prank and we must admit, it was quite a success.
The video of the event has been shared by content creator Sarthak Sachdeva on Instagram. As Kohli’s lookalike Kartik Sharma entered the restaurant, the security persons looked visibly confused. They gave Sharma a table without any prior reservation and offered him a menu with Virat Kohli’s favourite dishes. The clip further captures visitors at the restaurant mistaking Kartik for Kohli.

No wonder the video went viral garnering tons of likes and views. Social media users, precisely Kohli’s fans, flocked to the comment section and dropped several reactions.
A user said, “Viraj Tohli” while another person wrote, “Virat kohli from meesho.”
Someone else noted, “How to get banned from a restaurant 101.
An individual also stated, “This was next level.”
A user wondered, “How could no one notice the obvious “tattoo”??!! Is it a spontaneous video or scripted?!”

Kartik Sharma gained quite a popularity for his striking similarities with that of Virat Kohli. He is a software engineer and also runs a YouTube channel. Notably, Sharma has more than seven lakh followers on Instagram.
On the other hand, Virat Kohli has been off cricket and enjoying a gala family time. He last played the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. Since his name is missing from the Duleep Trophy squads, he is expected to be back in action in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh.
