UPSC Declares CDS II 2023 Final Result for OTA at upsc.gov.in; How to Check

A total of 271 candidates have been shortlisted for admission to OTA, Chennai, based on the results of the CDSE II

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the CDS II 2023 final result for OTA. Candidates, who appeared for the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2023, can check the results online at www.upsc.gov.in. It must be noted that this announcement is related to entry into the Indian Army’s Officers Training Academy (OTA) only. The main CDS 2023 result was announced on April 23.

The UPSC CDS II 2023 final result for OTA’s merit list has been made considering the written examinations and SSB scores only. Medical examination results have not been considered for making the merit list. The candidature of the shortlisted candidates is still provisional and confirmation of the selection will depend on the verification of their date of birth and educational qualifications documents.

How to check UPSC CDS II 2023 final result for OTA

Candidates can check the UPSC CDS II 2023 final result by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Log on to www.upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘UPSC CDS II 2023 final result for OTA link.’

Step 3: After clicking on the link, users will be directed to a PDF file where they can check their roll numbers to see the result.

Step 4: In the end, users can download their results or take a printout of their results for future reference.

A total of 271 candidates have been shortlisted for admission to OTA, Chennai, based on the results of the CDSE II. Selected candidates will be enrolled in the 120th Short Service Commission Course (NT) (for Men) and Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 34th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) Course, starting in October 2024.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted the Combined Defence Services Examination (II). The SSB interviews, on the other hand, were conducted by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence. Combining the examination and interview evaluation, UPSC declared the main result of CDS 2023 on April 23. A total of 197 candidates cleared the examination.
