UPSC CAPF 2023 Reserve List Released at upsc.gov.in, Here’s How To Check

UPSC CAPF 2023: Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their acceptance at upsc.gov.in while qualified candidates can even view the reserved list.

The Union Public Service Commission has released the reserve list for the recruitment exam of Central Armed Police Forces Assistant Commandants 2023 (UPSC CAPF ACs 2023). The commission has recommended 46 students as required by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their acceptance at upsc.gov.in while qualified candidates can even view the reserved list.

The official notice states, “As per the requisition placed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Commission hereby recommends the following 46 candidates, which includes General – 16, EWS-08, OBC – 18, SC – 02 and ST – 02 candidates, to fill up the remaining posts based on Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2023 from the candidates of Reserve List. One (01) vacancy is kept in reserve as the one case is sub-judice in the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. A list of these candidates is enclosed. The Ministry of Home Affairs will communicate directly with these recommended candidates.”

UPSC CAPF 2023: How To Check Reserve List?

Step 1. Go to the official website at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2. Click on the ‘What’s New’ tab on the homepage.

Step 3. Select “Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2023 Reserve List.”

Step 4. Examine the reserve list carefully.

Step 5. For future use, take a printout or keep a PDF.

On July 5, the CAPF ACs 2023 results were released, recommending 312 individuals for appointment based on their merit. On August 4, several exam venues hosted the UPSC CAPF 2024 recruitment exam. Only those candidates who passed the written exam were invited to take the Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Test.

The Central Armed Police Forces, namely the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), have recommended 312 candidates for appointment to the Assistant Commandants (Group A) posts. These recommendations are based on the final results.
