TTD Organises Time Slot Tokens For Devotees At Tirumala. Details Here

As per reports, the tokens are being provided to more than 25,000 devotees.

Devotees from across the country hope to visit the district of Tirumala to worship Lord Sri Srinivasa. As per reports by Local18, the visitors are VVIPs, VIPs, dignitaries and people holding constitutional status. More information states that the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the organisation handling the temples in the region, has allotted time slot tokens for devotees for darshan. Local18 states that the VVIP and VIP visit the temple through a number of routes; while for others, the organisers have arranged special entrances. Around 5 to 10 percent of the devotees visit the place through recommendation letters. The common devotees, who want to opt for VIP darshans, the TTD has made time slot tokens available for them. As per reports, the tokens are being provided to more than 25,000 devotees. According to the time given in the token, the TTD will make arrangements within 3 hours of arriving at the queue. It is being reported, in hopes to have a darshan of the deity, the devotees are visiting way ahead of the allotted time.

The announcements for the same are being made in multiple languages, which are Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English. The advertisements were to be launched at the Tirupati railway station and bus stands, along with Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasa and Alipiri Bhoodevi Complex, so that it can reach as many devotees as it can. Furthermore, the Executive Officer stated that devotees can also visit the local temples in Tirupati or visit spiritual places in Tirumala without waiting outside in queues.

Shyamala Rao, the Executive Officer at TTD, appealed to the public on Friday, asking them to follow the time allotted on SED tickets and SSD tokens, to avoid waiting unnecessarily at Tirumala. The devotees who arrive way ahead of time have to wait for long hours.
