The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has released the schedule for the Group I Services Main Examination 2024. Candidates who have passed the preliminary exam and are eligible for the Mains can visit the official TSPSC website at tspsc.gov.into download the schedule.
As per the official schedule, the TSPSC Group I Services Main Examination 2024 is slated to take place from October 21 to 27, with each session running in a single shift. The main examination will take place between 2 PM to 5 PM on all days. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, but the timings have been slightly adjusted.
In an official notice, the commission states, “It is hereby informed to the candidates, who have been provisionally admitted for written (Mains) examination for Group-I Services that the Mains examinations (Conventional/ Descriptive type), will be held in Hyderabad from 21/10/2024 to 27/10/2024 from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM”

General English (qualifying test): October 21 (2:00 pm to 5:00 pm)
Paper-I General Essay: October 22 (2:00 pm to 5:00 pm)
Paper-II – History, Culture and Geography: October 23 (2:00 pm to 5:00 pm)
Paper –III – Indian Society, Constitution and Governance: October 24 (2:00 pm to 5:00 pm)
Paper –IV – Economy and Development: October 25 (2:00 pm to 5:00 pm)
Paper- V – Science & Technology and Data Interpretation: October 26 (2:00 pm to 5:00 pm)
Paper-VI – Telangana Movement and State Formation: October 27 (2:00 pm to 5:00 pm)
In addition, the official notice mentions that candidates appearing for the Group I Mains exam will get a personalised answer booklet, consisting of pre-printed details and a photograph of the candidate.
The notice further stated, “For candidates’ convenience, the Sample Answer Booklets for all Seven (7) papers would be made available from 17/08/2024 onwards in the Commission’s website https://www.tspsc.gov.in, so that the candidates can read all the instructions printed on the Answer Booklets and follow them scrupulously. Candidates are advised to download the Sample Answer Booklets and practice writing.”
Meanwhile, as many as 31,382 candidates qualified for the Main Examination, held on June 9 across 31 districts of the state. The TSPSC Group I Services Examination is being conducted to fill 563 vacancies across various positions.
