The Rajasthan Man, Who Got Rejected In College Placement, Is Now Earning Crores With His IT Business

Akshat Chaturvedi started working as a freelance web developer or app developer.

Many students take their loss in college placements personally and find it impossible to move on. Some turn this setback into a strength, take action and create their own success story. Akshat Chaturvedi is one such student, who has turned his rejection into a very successful path. When the seventh semester of his engineering college’s campus placement cycle rolled around in Jaipur, Rajasthan, all student’s eyes were on the big companies, particularly multinational firms like Capgemini. Approximately 300 students took part in this placement campaign. In the first round aptitude exam five students including Akshat Chaturvedi were dismissed. But this rejection did not make him depressed but motivated to switch his career in a better way. Let us know how he competed and struggled to set up his own business.

Early Career

Akshat Chaturvedi from Jaipur, Rajasthan has excelled in school, as evidenced by his 88 percent grade in the 10th grade at Saraswati Vidhan Niketan. Following this, he took and passed the Maheshwari Public School 12th grade exam, earning an 85 percent grade. In 2020, the college where he applied for a BTech in computer science, placed roughly 300 candidates from different branches on campus; only five individuals including Akshat Chaturvedi were not chosen. Following this, Akshat made the decision to pursue his own goals and never looked back.

Turning Point

Despite feeling shaken by his campus failure, he chose to draw inspiration from his mother rather than concede defeat. According to Akshat Chaturvedi, his mother said that something exceptional is waiting for him, that’s why he was turned down for a job. The mother’s words did, in fact, come true. Akshat decided to follow in his father’s footsteps in business.

His father, Omprakash Chaturvedi, struggled and worked very hard at his modest plastic pellet business. In his boyhood, Akshat had watched how his father continuously battled obstacles in business, and perhaps it was from here that Akshat too learnt to fight.

Since Akshat Chaturvedi had studied computer science, instead of looking for a job, he started working as a freelance web developer or app developer. He began to enjoy this field as soon as he started with this career path. After that, he launched his own website and began offering numerous business apps and web development services. He then started working through Brain Box Apps, the company he had founded. His workload quickly increased. He now received job offers from the US, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, France, and other countries. More than 600 businesses currently use the IT services offered by his organisation. These days, his company generates crores in revenue.

Akshat Chaturvedi claims he was unable to find employment, as his business expanded, he began placing BTech graduates in positions similar to his own. He is currently working with a group of fifteen individuals. In addition, there are 20 to 30 field workers who handle customer services, market research, and other tasks.
