The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to release the notification for SSC CGL 2024. Its notification was earlier going to be released in the first week of June. But it was postponed. The commission recently released its revised exam schedule. According to reports, the notification for SSC CGL 2024 will be released today on June 24. After the release of the notification, one can apply by visiting the SSC website at https://ssc.gov.in/.
SSC CGL 2024: Which posts will be filled?
Every year, a large number of vacancies are filled through the SSC CGL exam. Through this, recruitment is done in various departments, ministries and organisations. These include posts like Assistant Section Officer (ASO), Sub Inspector Narcotic, Upper Division Clerk, Tax Assistant, Assistant Inspector (CGST and Central Excise), Inspector, Assistant Enforcement Officer, and Sub Inspector (CBI).
SSC CGL 2024: Who can apply?
Graduates in any subject can apply for SSC CGL 2024. The age limit for this recruitment is different according to the posts. Detailed information will be available in the official notification. To get selected for this recruitment, one has to pass a two-tier examination.
SSC CGL 2024: How many posts will be recruited?
A large number of recruitments are done through SSC CGL. In 2023, 8,415 vacancies were filled and in 2022, 36,001 vacancies were filled. Information about how many vacancies will be there this year will only be revealed through the notification.
SSC CGL 2024: Application Fee
The candidates will be required to submit the prescribed SSC CGL 2024 application fee. The Commission will prescribe the application fee in the official notification.

The candidates should note that the SSC CGL 2024 application fee is a non-refundable entity, and the Commission will not refund it even when the candidate drops the idea of withdrawing their candidature.
