Students of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) can now obtain their academic certificates online. The university has established a dedicated portal for this purpose. Students will be able to track the status of their applications and receive updates at each stage. Reportedly, the portal was launched by Dr. Mahesh Kakade, Director of the University’s Board of Examinations and Evaluation. This new system promises to make it easier to obtain important documents including transcripts, rank certificates, and degree certificates. How To Apply For Academic Certificates?
Step 1: In order to apply for the Online Certificate, students must first create an account by selecting the ‘Create Account’ option.
Step 2: Once the account has been properly created, they must complete the student profile.
Step 3: After successfully saving the profile, click on ‘Certificate Section’.
Step 4: Next select your Certificate Type in the Certificate Section.
Step 5: Fill out the application details and then click the ‘Save’ button.
Step 6: Pay the application fees as required for your category
Step 7: Download the form as well as the challan for future reference
The fee details for various categories are mentioned on the portal. For assistance, candidates can mail atcertificate@unipune.ac.inor call on 25601207 and 25601217.
This effort is a break from the former method, in which students had to submit printed applications and supporting paperwork to the Student Facilitation Centre. After students complete the online application and submit the necessary documents through the university’s digital system, the Examination Department will process the request and deliver the certificates directly to the students’ residences. Students who completed their courses in 2023 can apply for the certificates.
This will also enable the university to transition to a paperless administration and use technology to serve its students. Furthermore, the new approach is especially useful for students wishing to pursue further education overseas, who require immediate access to a variety of academic certificates. By removing the need for physical visits and documentation, the university will enable students to manage their academic issues more effectively.
