Rajasthan: Several Class 5th, 8th Students Yet To Receive Board Exam Marksheets After 4 Months Of Results

In the session 2023-24, as many as 26.86 lakh students of the state had appeared for class 5th and 8th examinations. Out of these, 90,766 students from Sikar district, are suffering the consequences of not getting the marksheet

Students who appeared in the Rajasthan RBSE 5th and 8th board exams have not received their board exam mark sheets yet. These exams were conducted from March 28 to May 4 and the result was released by the board on May 30. Even after four months of the result declaration, several students have yet to receive their board exam mark sheets.

Students of classes 5th and 8th board results will likely still have to wait for another month for the marksheet. The main reason for this is the non-printing of mark sheets by the Registrar Education Departmental Office in Bikaner. It is expected to take more than a month from printing the mark sheets to distributing them and sending them through the nodal school.

In the session 2023-24, as many as 26.86 lakh students of the state had appeared for class 5th and 8th examinations. Out of these, 90,766 students from Sikar district, are suffering the consequences of not getting the marksheet. Around 45,031 students of class 5 and 45,735 students of class 8 are awaiting their mark sheets.

Candidates are making rounds of the district education department office and school for mark sheets for admission in the next class because, for admission in the next class, a copy of the mark sheet has to be submitted to the school.

It is to be noted that after the 5th and 8th board exams, students go to other schools and take admission. In such a situation, at the time of admission, they have to submit a copy of the marksheet of the board class. Due to not getting a copy of passing the board exam, the students are now facing a lot of trouble. Even after months, the marksheet has not reached the students yet. However, several schools are taking admission of the students through online mark sheets.
