Police raided a women’s PG in Ghaziabad. They arrested four people including the hostel operator, who allegedly blackmailed women into prostitution with their obscene videos
Police have arrested four people including a hostel operator after raiding a women’s Paying Guest (PG) accommodation in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad. They have also recovered some objectionable items from the rooms.
The police have also rescued four women from the PG who have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The women informed that they had met the hostel operator in connection with work.
The women trapped into prostitution claimed that the hostel operator shot obscene videos of them in the pretext of getting them work. Following this, they were forced into prostitution after the hostel operator blackmailed them with these videos.
Sahibabad Assistant Commissioner of Police Rajneesh Kumar said that the police received a tip about a prostitution racket functioning at the PG at Rajendra Nagar locality in Ghaziabad following which they undertook the raid. The police have launched an investigation into the case and are taking legal action against the accused.
