OSSC CGL Prelims Recruitment 2024: Candidates can download their admission letters from the official website, ossc.gov.in, starting from July 25.
The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the schedule for the preliminary examination for the recruitment of Group-B and Group-Specialist Posts/Services under the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination (CGLRE) 2023. As per the notification, the preliminary exam will take place on August 4, from 10 AM to 12 PM.
The exam will be conducted in a single sitting using OMR mode at 30 locations across Odisha. It will consist of 150 questions, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. Candidates can download their admission letters from the official website, ossc.gov.in, starting from July 25.
OSSC CGL Prelims Recruitment 2024: How to Check
Step 1. Visit the OSSC’s official webiste: ossc.gov.in.
Step 2. Under the “What’s New” section, find and click on the link, “Download the admission letter for the preliminary exam of CGLRE Specialist Posts/Services-2023.”
Step 3. Provide your login details and click on “Submit.”
Step 4. Check the details carefully and then download the admission letter.
Step 5. Don’t forget to take a hard copy of the admission letter for further use.
PwD candidates with a disability of at least 40 per cent and of a permanent nature, who have applied for a scribe’s assistance in the online application, must submit their request in the prescribed format along with the required documents. These should be sent only via email to orissassc@gmail.com by July 30 to obtain necessary permission from the Commission. Any requests for scribe assistance received after this date will not be considered.
Under no circumstances will a PwD candidate be allowed to use a scribe in the examination without prior permission from the Commission. Candidates are also advised to check the OSSC website regularly for any further updates on this matter.
OSSC CGL Prelims Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
Candidates who successfully pass the Prelims exam will be eligible to apply for the Mains. The Mains exam is scheduled to be held in December and will consist of two papers, each worth 100 marks. Following the Mains and Skill Test, candidates will be called for document verification to verify their identity.
