Meanwhile, Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, who is at the center of a gender row, is assured of a medal after she beat Anna Luca Hamori (Hungary) in the women’s 66kg boxing quarter-final. Earlier, Indian archer Deepika Kumari crashed out in the quarterfinals of the Women’s Individual event, losing to South Korea’s Nam Suhyeon. Indian shooter Manu Bhaker missed out on a medal after finishing 4th in the Women’s 25m Pistol final at the Paris Olympics 2024.
