The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur released the NIMCET 2024 result on Tuesday, June 25. Candidates, who took the NIT MCA common entrance exam, can check their results via the official website, nimcet.in. Candidates can use their user ID and password to obtain their NIMCET 2024 scorecard via the candidate login portal. This year, the online exam took place on June 8 from 2 PM to 4 PM.
NIMCET 2024: How to Check?
Students can follow the below process to check their NIMCET result 2024.
Step 1. Go to nimcet.in, the official NIMCET website.
Step 2. Search for the link for the ‘NIMCET 2024 results’ from the homepage and click on it.
Step 3. Fill up the login credentials, including your hall ticket number and password.
Step 5. The screen will now show the result. Check your NIMCET result carefully.
Step 6. Save the scorecard as a PDF file for your records.
NIMCET 2024: What to Check?
Details like the candidate’s name, application number, roll number, examination qualifying status, total marks earned, marks for each paper, state rank, and category rank will all be included in the scorecard. Candidates are required to check the result details carefully to avoid any kind of objection in the next round of the admission process.
NIMCET 2024: Counselling Process
The official notification states “Registration for counselling shall start from 29/06/24.” Candidates can start applying for NIMCET Counselling 2024 from June 29 if they pass the entrance exam successfully. Based on the NIMCET 2024 results, there will be three rounds of counselling process to fill 805 MCA seats. The counselling registration, choice filling, and locking options will all be available between June 29 and July 5, 2024. On July 8, 2024, the tentative results of the first round of seat allocation will be released.
The NIMCET exam is required for admission to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programmes in participating NIT institutes. Candidates who pass the entrance exam will get a chance for admission into NIT Agartala, MNNIT Allahabad, MANIT Bhopal, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Patna, NIT Raipur, NITK Surathkal, NIT Tiruchirappalli, NIT Warangal, and IIIT Bhopal.
