NEET PG 2024 to Be Conducted Tomorrow; Check Exam Day Guidelines to Follow

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is scheduled to hold the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) tomorrow, June 23. The exam will be administered from 9 am to 12:30 pm on a computer-based test (CBT) mode throughout the country.

The NEET PG 2024 admit cards were previously made available “batch-wise” by the testing authority. Candidates for NEET-PG 2024 can access their admit cards from the applicant login portal on the NBEMS website’s NEET-PG 2024 index page.

NEET PG 2024: Exam Pattern

The examination will be in English. It comprises 200 multiple-choice questions with four options. Candidates will be required to mark the response or answer out of the four distractors as options provided under the question. For wrong answers, the candidate will be penalised with a 25 per cent negative mark on that particular question. The examination duration is 3 hours and 30 minutes.

NEET PG 2024: Exam Day Guidelines

–– Candidates should bring a physical copy of their NEET PG admit card with them to the exam venue.

–– Dress in accordance with the dress code established by the exam authorities.

–– Candidates are not permitted to bring electronic devices, calculators, documents, stationery, food, or other objects inside the test venue.

–– Candidates are advised to arrive at the test hall at least an hour before the scheduled time.

–– Candidates will not be allowed to enter the testing facility if they are not carrying any of the following documents: a copy of their NEET PG admit card, a hard copy original of a government-issued ID, or a photocopy of their Permanent/Provisional SMC/MCI/NMC registration of their MBBS qualification.

–– Candidates are urged to familiarise themselves with the exam centre’s location and arrange their transportation appropriately.

–– Under no circumstances will the board permit late admission into the examination venue. NBEMS shall not be held liable for any delays in the candidate’s arrival at the centre owing to any cause.

–– Furthermore, candidates are expressly barred from bringing any restricted objects as specified by authorities into the test centre under any circumstances.

NEET PG a is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MS/MD and PG Diploma Courses as per Section 61(2) of the NMCA, National Medical Commission Act, 2019 read with 10 (D) of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

The NEET PG is conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) established by the Government of India in 1975. Its primary objective is to elevate the standards of postgraduate medical education in modern medicine and conduct examinations of the highest standards on a country level
