NCERT Announces 5 Vacancies For Senior Research Associate And Junior Project Fellow Posts

Eligible candidates must bring in their original certificates, self-attested photocopies of certificates and other documents with their resumes for the interview.

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is offering a great opportunity to young people who are looking for government jobs. NCERT has released a notification about the vacancies for the post of Senior Research Associate (SRA) and Junior Project Fellow (JPF). Eligible candidates can apply for these posts by visiting the official website of NCERT at ncert.nic.in.

The application process for the recruitment of SRA and JPF has already begun. A total of five posts are to be filled through this recruitment drive by NCERT. If you are an eligible candidate and aspire to seek a secured government job, then here are a few information you need.

What is the age limit to get a job in NCERT?

For the position of Senior Research Associate (SRA), the candidate’s age limit has been fixed at 45 years. There will be relaxation as per the government of India’s norms. Meanwhile, for a Junior Project Fellow, the age of the candidate should not exceed more than 40 years.

What are the eligibility criteria to get a job in NCERT?

For the role of a Senior Research Associate (SRA), the candidate must have a postgraduate degree with 55 per cent marks and NET or equivalent qualification in Education/ Child Development/ ECCE/ Social Science/ Humanities discipline. Also, the candidate must possess two years of experience working with preschool children.

For the role of Junior Project Fellow (JPF), candidates must have a postgraduate degree in Hindi subject with a minimum of 55 per cent marks for the general category and 50 per cent marks in the case of SC and ST category candidates.

What are the salary expectations in NCERT?

For the position of SRA, selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs 35,000. For JPF, any candidate selected for the post will be paid Rs 31,000 monthly as salary.

Candidates applying for these posts in NCERT will be selected based on their walk-in interviews. As per the official notification of NCERT Recruitment 2024, it states that interested and eligible candidates must bring in their original certificates, self-attested photocopies of each certificate and other relevant documents along with their resume at the time of the interview.
