A student of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural University (Uttar Pradesh) got three medals from the governor and is currently making headlines. Shivangi Saxena has recently been awarded the Chancellor’s Gold Medal in the convocation ceremony of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural University. She has also won another medal in the field of agriculture. As per reports, Governor Anandiben Patel praised this candidate and gave a total of three medals to Shivangi, who hails from Meerut. She and her father were extremely happy to receive the medal in the field of agriculture. Shivangi says that daughters are making their name shine in every field. She has done BTech in Agricultural Engineering. In the future, she wants to establish new dimensions in the field of agriculture.
In the convocation ceremony, 254 students were awarded degrees in graduation in various subjects, 9 in postgraduate and 7 in PhD. In the convocation ceremony, students were awarded 20 medals. The female students of the university won 14 medals. Shivangi Saxena, BTech (Agricultural Engineering), has won a maximum of 3 medals, including the Chancellor Gold Medal, Vice Chancellor Silver Medal, and Sarita Memorial Gold Medal.
On this occasion, an agreement was signed between Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural and Technology University Meerut and the Directorate General of Ex-Servicemen Rehabilitation to provide 21 days of training to retired or retired soldiers and personnel. This is the first agricultural university in the country to sign such an agreement.
The 17th convocation ceremony at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology was presided over by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel. The special guest of this program was Surya Pratap Shahi, Minister of Agriculture, Agricultural Education, and Research. The chief guest was Dr Sanjay Kumar, Chairman, Agricultural Scientist Selection Board, New Delhi.
In the convocation ceremony, the governor said that daughters were ahead in medals this time too. She started his address by remembering the cultural and religious history of Meerut. She also told the students to put the knowledge of agriculture into practice in their lives and take advantage by joining the startup schemes being given by the government.
Anandiben Patel said that Niti Aayog has recommended the country become self-sufficient in edible oil. The scientists and students of the university should try to play a key role in this. She called upon the university to strive for better grading from NAAC.
