Maharashtra: Woman Chases Away Three Men Who Attacked Her Son With Sword In Broad Daylight | Video

In the video, which has since surfaced on social media, the woman could be seen talking to her son sitting on a scooter

A woman saved her son’s life by chasing away three men who attacked him with a sword in broad daylight in Maharashtra. The incident took place in Kolhapur’s Jaysingpur area at 1:30 pm on Sunday and was captured on CCTV camera.

In the video, which has since surfaced on social media, the woman could be seen talking to her son sitting on a scooter. Three men on a motorcycle arrive and park their two-wheeler near the mother-son duo.

One of these men approaches from behind wielding a sword and attacks the person sitting on the scooter, who ducks to escape the blow. The victim’s mother quickly picked up a stone and chased the attackers away. Her son also joined her and began picking up stones from the pavement and throwing them in the direction of the attackers.

The person who was attacked was identified as Sunil Ramappa Lamani. On the basis of his complaint, police have registered a case against three accused, Vinod Kasu Pawar, Arvind Kasu Pawar and Vinod Babu Jadhav.

Police are scouring the CCTV footage and a search for the accused is underway.
