Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2024: The merit list for admission to class 11 is now available at the official website at 11thadmission.org.in

The Government of Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department has released the first merit list of First Year Junior College (FYJC). The merit list for admission to class 11 is now available at the official website at 11thadmission.org.in. A total of 2,49,050 seats were available for the FYJC admissions first round. The School Education Department received 2,28,312 applications for the same.

The eligible candidates can further initiate their admission process by doing the online verification of documents. This is followed by submitting the fees and signing the undertaking forms. Students must remember that if they are given a seat in their first preferred college, then it is mandatory for them to confirm their admission. If they don’t confirm the admission, they will not be considered for the next round.

Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2024: How to Check?

Step 1: Go to the Maharashtra FYJC’s official website, 11thadmission.org.in

Step 2: Click on the login button on the homepage.

Step 3: Fill up the credentials and click on submit

Step 4: View the Maharashtra FYJC first merit list

Step 5: Download the page for future use

The regular admission for round 2 is tentatively scheduled to be released on July 2 and last till July 8. Round 3 and round 4 may be released on July 9 and July 19 respectively. Usually, four general merit lists are released each year.

The FYJC merit list is released for five regions of Maharashtra. These are Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik and Amravati. According to the School Education and Sports Department website, this year “It is mandatory for all to participate in the online admission process, as all admissions will be done through online process only.”

A total of 95.81 per cent of students passed the Maharashtra Board SSC exam. 3,39,269 candidates took the exam of which 3,25,143 qualified for the class 10 exam this year. Girls have outperformed boys while the Konkan division has secured the best-performing district title yet again.
