Khalistani Extremists Have Developed Deep Roots in Canada with ISI Blueprint: Sources | Exclusive

The Justin Trudeau government, the sources said, has allowed protests, referendums, and shelter to known criminals

The Khalistani movement has established deep roots in Canada with the help of extremists and local politicians, top intelligence sources told CNN-News18 on Wednesday. Punjabi criminals, problematic migrants with aspirations to settle down permanently, and plotting by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) are the root cause, they added.

The Justin Trudeau government, the sources said, has allowed protests, referendums, and shelter to known criminals.

“It is surprising for a developed country like Canada not to cooperate with probes. They have more than 20 probes and LRs pending from India,” a source said. “The ISI in recent years has penetrated deep into the immigration cartel, which is forcing the Indian youth to become party to gangsters there and get involved in the drug business and stand against India in protests.”

Young girls from Punjab are forced into prostitution by these drug cartels, the sources said.

“The important thing is the penetration of Pakistan into Trudeau’s party,” said a source. “Bilal Cheema is very close to them and he is operating on behalf of Pakistani ISI, funding Trudeau regularly. He has stolen Visa Cards and Master Cards of the Liberal Party and was saved by MP Sukh Dhaliwal. Whenever Trudeau comes to Atlin in British Columbia, he stays at their homes.”

As reported earlier, sources told CNN-News18 that the International Sikh Federation is the root cause of the drug business in Canada. The organisation raised cadres initially and started the business under the banner of the International Sikh Federation with gangsters Bindy Johal and Jimmy Dosanjh.

The gangs of Johals, Dhak-Duhre, Sanghera, Malhi-Buttar, and the Kangs regularly feature in drug seizures, gang wars and other criminal activities. These people used to work for the federation earlier and later started their own work.

Punjabi smugglers in Canada and Punjab have a very strong network, CNN-News18 has learnt. Canadian gangs are interested in cheap ‘import’ of heroin from Afghanistan via Pakistan and Punjab and they ‘export’ refined drugs besides cocaine and ICE to Punjab.

The Punjabi Indo-Canadian youth joined the business which was originally started by ISI for money.

These days, drugs are coming from Mexico, America and Pakistan through trucks since the Sikh community is mainly in the truck business.

Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s cousin was also president of the Surrey Gurdwara and was involved in the drug business in America.

The involvement of the Punjabi youth in the drug and extortion business is also because of compulsions as youth who committed crimes in India are entering Canada with fake identities.

Once they enter, they need Permanent Residency (PR) for which they have to approach criminal elements who are immigration consultants.

The Canadian drug trafficking network, according to the police, extends to the US and India.

On June 23, 2021, Toronto Police arrested 20 people, including nine of Punjab origin, when illicit drugs were being brought into Canada from California and India.

The police had claimed to have seized more than 1,000 kilograms of cocaine, crystal meth, and marijuana being transported between Mexico, California, and Canada using modified tractor-trailers.

As per the police, the recoveries included 444 kg of cocaine, 182 kg of crystal meth, 427 kg of marijuana, 300 oxycodone pills, $966,020 in Canadian currency, 21 vehicles, including five tractor-trailers, and one firearm.

The street value of the seized drugs was estimated to be more than $ 61 million and it was termed the largest international drug takedown in their history.

In Canada, 21 per cent of gangsters who died in gang wars or police operations since 2006 were of Punjabi origin.

The ISI is using Khalistani terrorists to smuggle narcotics and provide funds to various groups for anti-India activities.

According to sources, these drugs originate in Afghanistan. From there, they go to Pakistan and then to the border.

Some parts of the drug from Punjab go straight to foreign countries and some parts are sent to Canada, the US and other countries through Mumbai and Nepal.

In Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto, it is Punjabis in the truck business who have turned to drug smuggling, the sources said.
