KCET 2024: The document verification schedule and list of candidates have been released on the official portal of KEA at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) Counselling 2024 document verification dates. The schedule, rank numbers, and list of candidates have been released on the official portal of KEA at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The physical document verification will be conducted from June 25 to 29 in three shifts. The first shift will take place from 9 am to 11 am, the second shift from 11:15 am to 1:15 pm, and the third shift will commence at 2 pm.
KEA announced the KCET 2024 results on June 1. As per the official statistics, around 3.27 lakh candidates appeared for the exam which was conducted on April 18 and April 19. As per media reports, the top 10 ranks have been secured by nine boys and one girl. The top three ranks have been achieved by Harsha Karthikeya Vutukuri, Sahakara Nagar, Manoj Sohan Gajula, and Abhinav PJ from Nehru Smaraka Vidyalaya, Jayanagar.
The KCET examination is conducted annually for students seeking admission to various undergraduate engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy courses offered by the colleges in Karnataka. The KCET counselling process comprises four stages — document verification, choice filling, KCET option entry, seat allotment, and reporting to the institutes.

KCET 2024: Counselling Process
After successful verification of the documents, candidates have to fill up their preferred choice of college and courses. Based on the merit, rank of the students, and availability of seats at the colleges, KEA will announce the mock seat allotment result of KCET 2024. Candidates can check their chances of admission based on their merit and make changes if required. After this, the final seat allotment will be released and the candidates can confirm their seats by paying the acceptance fee. Lastly, the students who have deposited the acceptance fee will have to report to their allotted college within a given period with their original documents.
