JSSC Invites Applications To Fill 510 Regional Health Worker Vacancies

To be eligible for the post of Regional Health Worker in the Jharkhand Health Department, one should have cleared the Class 10 board exam.

In Jharkhand, 510 Regional Health Workers will be recruited in the health department of the state. Recently, a notification was issued by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) on Friday for the recruitment of eligible candidates as health workers. It is all set to hold the Jharkhand Field Worker Competitive Examination 2024 to recruit Kshetriya Karyakarta under Svaastha, Chikitsa Shiksha and Parivar Kalyan Vibhag.

Eligible candidates can apply between August 1 to August 31. The application fee can be deposited till September 2. As per the information released, the photos and signatures can be uploaded till September 4. Amendments in the form can be made between September 6 to 8. The application process is online for this recruitment and has to be done by visiting the website of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission – https://jssc.nic.in/.

To be eligible for the post of Regional Health Worker in the Jharkhand Health Department, one should have cleared the Class 10 board exam. Also, the minimum age limit is 18 years as of August 1, 2024. The maximum age limit has been set to 35 years for unreserved category and economically weaker section candidates. For Extremely backward classes and backward classes, the age limit is 37. For the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), the maximum age limit is 38 years. At the same time, the age limit for female and male candidates for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) is 40 years.

For unreserved categories, 230 seats have been reserved. Meanwhile, for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) it is 133 and 44 respectively. For the extremely backward class, there are 45 sears and for the backward class, it is 7. Finally, for the Economically Weaker Section, it is 51.

The application fee for the Regional Health Worker recruitment in Jharkhand Health Department is Rs 100. However, the application fee for SC/ST category candidates of the state is Rs 50. Regional Health Workers will be paid as per Matrix Level 2 and their salary will range anywhere between Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900 per month.

The candidates will have to appear for a computer-based or OMR-based exam for the recruitment of regional health workers. The exam will be conducted in one phase. It will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and each question will be of 3 marks. There will be a negative marking of one mark for every wrong answer. The first paper will be Language Knowledge and the second one will be Tribal and Regional Language. The third paper is General Studies. Students must score 30 per cent parks in every paper.
