Joint CSIR NET Result June 2024 Released at csirnet.nta.ac.in, Steps To Check

Joint CSIR NET Result June 2024: Candidates will need their application number and date of birth to check the score. Note that no hard copy of the scorecard or any copy will be sent through email.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination results for the June 2024 session. Candidates can check the category-wise CSIR NET Results 2024 on the official websites at csirhrdg.res.in and csirnet.nta.ac.in. The agency has released the cut off marks along with the results. Candidates will need their application number and date of birth to check the score. Note that no hard copy of the scorecard or any copy will be sent through email.

A total of 1,963 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) as well as assistant professor positions while 11 students have qualified only for JRF. 3172 candidates have qualified for assistant professorship and PhD admissions. 10,969 candidates have qualified for PhD admissions only. Candidates must note that for PhD admissions 70 per cent weightage will be given to CSIR NET marks and 30 per cent to interview round.

CSIR NET Result 2024: Steps To Download Scorecards

Step 1: Visit the official website- csirnet.nta.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads “CSIR UGC NET 2024 June Result”

Step 3: In the newly opened tab, enter your application number, and date of birth and give the code

Step 4: Click on the “Submit” button and your CSIR NET Result 2024 will appear on your screen

Step 5: Check and download your result and save it for future reference

According to the CSIR NET exam pattern, Part A questions are worth two marks each, Part B questions are worth three marks each, and Part C questions carry 4.75 marks each. There is a 25 per cent negative marking for incorrect answers in Parts A and B, while no negative marking applies to Part C. The exam results are determined based on the answers in the final key. Candidates can estimate their scores by referring to the final key and the marking scheme.

The Joint CSIR-UGC NET is held every year to assess eligibility for various academic and research opportunities for Indian citizens. Through this exam, candidates can qualify for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and the post of Assistant Professor, as well as admission to various PhD programmes.
