In Bengal, Massive Laddu Weighing 751 Kg Offered At This Ganesh Puja Pandal

The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with great joy and pomp in numerous places across the country. In many places, there is a ritual of offering large laddus that often draws a massive crowd. A similar thing was reportedly made in West Bengal. People were left amazed after seeing the laddu. Let us know more about this in this article. According to reports, the weight of the massive laddu is around 751 Kg. It was offered at a Ganesh Puja that took place in Hamiltonganj, Kalchini, West Bengal. The Ganesh puja pandal attracted a massive crowd. Some people mentioned that this is the first time they are watching such a laddu in front of them. A member of the puja committee mentioned that this is the first time they have started to offer such a laddu that is unique in its own way. The kids were especially amazed after seeing a glimpse of it, the person further added.

The initiative of offering such a huge laddu was taken by the women of the locality. After the immersion of the idol, a special function was held. The gala celebration was attended by many well-known people of the area. Following the conclusion of the rituals, the laddu was distributed as a prasad among the locals.

In Hyderabad, a Ganesh Puja Laddu was auctioned for a massive amount. A Laddu of Balapur Ganesh Puja was auctioned for Rs 30 lakh. The bid was won by BJP leader, Kolan Shankar Reddy. Last year, a laddu was auctioned for a price of Rs 27 lakh. The funds that are collected from this auction process are used for development activities in the area.

In a similar incident, a Ganesh Laddu, which was offered at the Ganesh puja of Keerthi Richmond Villas in Bandlaguda, Hyderabad was auctioned for Rs 1.87 crore. Last year, it was auctioned for a price of Rs 1.26 crore.
