IISER IAT 2024: As per the official announcement, following the start of document submission today, June 26 the first seat distribution will be announced on July 7
The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) opened the registration window for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) counselling 2024 on June 25, 5 pm onwards. Students who have passed the IISER IAT 2024 exam will be able to apply at iiseradmission.in for the counselling procedure.
The official website states, “To be considered for counselling, filling up the IISER Preference Form is mandatory.” The students must fill out the counselling form by July 1.
As per the official announcement, following the start of document submission today, June 26 the first seat distribution will be announced on July 7. Candidates will be admitted based on the availability of seats in an institute, their category, their IAT rank, and the institutes they have indicated as their choices.
Recently, the IISER released the IAT results 2024. Candidates will need to put their User ID and Password to view their results through the official website.
IISER IAT Exam 2024: Steps to Check
Step 1. Go to iiseradmission.in, the official website.
Step 2. Select the ‘IAT Result’ link that appears on the homepage.
Step 3.Enter your login information, including your password and user ID.
Step 4. Now you will get to see the results of the IAT 2024 exam.
Step 5. Print the IAT scorecard for future records.

A total of 1,933 seats are available for candidates to get admission to various IISERs within India.

IISER 2024: Expected Rank and Marks
Before applying to the above Institutes candidates are required to check the expected rank and marks cut–off for each Institute. The total mark for the examination is 240. The expected IAT opening and closing ranks vary according to state institutes and categories. Below is the list of the expected rank and marks at various Institutes.

On June 9, the IAT 2024 exam was held for admission to the four-year BS in Engineering Sciences and Economic Sciences provided at IISER Bhopal, as well as the five-year integrated BS-MS programmes offered at seven IISERs.
The IAT results will also be used by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras to accept students to its BS Medical Sciences and Engineering course and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore to admit students to its BS Research programme.
