Recently, Rusil Patra, a BTech student from the IT Business Informatics branch, was offered a package of Rs 1.02 crore by ADP, a prestigious American company. This is considered the highest package secured by a student from this institute so far.
IIIT Prayagraj introduced the BTech Business Informatics program in 2019, and Rusil’s batch is only the second one to graduate. Though he received this offer back in January, he will now join the company after completing his course. This achievement highlights the growing recognition of IIIT Prayagraj as a top institute for students aiming for high-paying jobs in the tech industry.
In addition to Rusil Patra’s remarkable Rs 1.02 crore offer, six other students from different branches of IIIT Prayagraj have secured job offers with an impressive annual salary of Rs 85 lakh. The placement success at IIIT Prayagraj extends across various branches, with BTech students receiving an average package of Rs 25 lakh annually.
The institute’s stellar placement record is highlighted by the fact that 91 percent of BTech students have secured jobs in both Indian and international companies. An MTech student from IIIT Prayagraj has also received a package of Rs 65 lakh, with postgraduate students achieving an average annual salary package of Rs 18 lakh.
Admission in this institute is based on the score of JEE Main or JEE Advanced. For admission in IIIT, at least 75 percent marks in class 12 are required. GATE score is required for admission in MTech.
