How ICCMRT Is Shaping The Future Of Management Education In India

It was established in 1978 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and has emerged as a leader in setting benchmarks in management education, research, training and consultancy.

After completing their graduation, many young individuals and their parents often find themselves anxious about where to pursue an MBA that will lead to promising job placements and a brighter future. Most parents aspire for their children to enrol in a prestigious institution, with the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) being the top choice for many MBA students. Gaining admission to IIM requires passing the CAT exam. The Institute of Co-operative and Corporate Management Research and Training (ICCMRT) is one such college where nearly all students secure jobs after completing their MBA.

The Institute of Co-operative and Corporate Management Research and Training (ICCMRT) was established in 1978 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. This institute has emerged as a leader in setting benchmarks in management education, research, training and consultancy. Its mission goes beyond merely providing high-quality education; it aims to cultivate practical knowledge and skill development that align with the evolving demands of the industry. Thanks to its commitment to excellence in education, modern facilities and outstanding placement rates, ICCMRT has earned a respected reputation in management education, not only in Uttar Pradesh but throughout the entire country.

Admission Process:

The ICCMRT offers a total of 180 seats for its MBA programme. This two-year, full-time MBA course is approved by the AICTE in New Delhi and affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) in Lucknow. To gain admission to the MBA program, candidates must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG), which is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Based on the CUET-PG results, selected candidates will be allocated seats through the AKTU counselling process. According to AKTU guidelines, if any seats remain vacant after the counselling sessions, candidates will have the option for direct admission. Interested individuals can contact the institute directly to apply for these vacant seats.

The placement cell at ICCMRT organises both campus and pool campus recruitment drives by inviting various companies to assist in shaping students’ careers and meeting industry expectations. Its primary goal is to offer students better job opportunities and promising career paths while also providing industries with skilled new talent. Beyond merely arranging job placements, the cell conducts training and development programs to empower students. It maintains ongoing communication with the industry to foster strong relationships between both parties. Additionally, the placement cell hosts workshops, guest lectures and networking events featuring industry experts and companies to keep students informed about current challenges and trends in the workforce.
