The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is re-accepting applications for the Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024. Candidates who successfully qualified for the Common Entrance Test (CET) must re-register through the official website hssc.nic.in for the Haryana Police Constable Recruitment. Interested candidates can apply until July 8. Applicants who previously applied between February 20 and March 28, do not need to reapply.
As per the High Court, the re-opening of the registration process has started after the release of CET results. The Supreme Court recently rejected a petition for five bonus marks based on economic and social criteria. After which, the CET results were released on June 25 without any bonus marks.
Candidates must use their current user ID and password to log in to apply online for the Haryana HSSC Police Constable Recruitment 2024. New applicants must first register to access the official website where their applications must be submitted.
HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
Education Criteria: A candidate must have a 12th-grade diploma or equivalent. Candidates also need to have studied Sanskrit or Hindi in the tenth grade.
Age Limit: Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 25, starting on February 1, 2024. The government has granted a three-year age relaxation because of COVID-19 and recruitment procedure delays. Candidates up to 28 years old in the unreserved category may apply. The age range for EWS, SC, and ST candidates is 18 to 33 years. The maximum age limit for OBC candidates is 31 years old.

Step 2: Select the ‘Re-Advertisement No. 06/2024 For Constable in Haryana Police’ link.
Step 3: On a new page that displays on the screen, candidates must input the necessary information and upload supporting documentation.
Step 4: Click the submit button and download the Haryana Constable recruitment confirmation page.
The Haryana Police first released the recruitment notice for the 6,000 Constable (General Duty) vacancies in February 2024. One thousand slots are reserved for female candidates, and five thousand are for male candidates.
HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024: Selection Procedure
Both a knowledge test and a physical test are part of the selection procedure. Based on the CET results, candidates are selected for the physical examination. The weightage of the knowledge test is 94.5%. Applicants who hold an NCC certificate will receive three bonus points. The weightage assigned to socio-economic categories is 2.5 marks. In the physical exam test, male candidates must run 2.5 km in 12 minutes. 1 km must be run in 6 minutes by female candidates.
