The Telangana government has issued a notification for the recruitment of yoga instructors in government hospitals across the state. The notification has been released by the Ayush Department.
According to the notification, 842 yoga instructors will be recruited on a part-time basis. Out of total 842 posts, 421 are reserved for male candidates and another 421 for female candidates.
Those selected for these posts will be required to conduct yoga sessions in the hospitals.
The notification states that male yoga instructors must attend at least 32 yoga sessions per month and women should attend minimum of 20 sessions per month. Each session lasts for an hour. Instructors will get Rs 250 per session as a remuneration.
Interviews for candidates will be conducted between September 24, 2024 to September 30, 2024 at district centres in Nizamabad, Medak, Adilabad, Warangal, Karimnagar and Khammam. Final selection will be held on the bases of educational qualification and interview.
