E-Auction for DDA Flats Under Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024 to Begin on September 24; Check Timing Here

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is set to begin the e-auction for flats under the Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024 from Tuesday, September 24. The auction will include Penthouse, Super HIG, HIG, and MIG category flats, built in various sectors of Dwarka and the e-auction will be held in two parts.

The DDA launched three new housing schemes on August 20: the Affordable Home Scheme, the Middle Class Housing Scheme and the Dwarka Housing Scheme. A total of 173 flats under the Dwarka Housing Scheme will be sold via e-auction. Additionally, the DDA has offered 7,124 EWS and LIG flats under the Sasta Ghar Yojana.

The flats under Sasta Ghar and Middle-Class Housing Schemes were sold on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, while the flats in the Dwarka Housing Scheme will be sold through e-auction. The deadline for submitting the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for this scheme was September 17, with the last date for submitting applications being September 19.

E-auction Schedule

As per the DDA’s circular, “The e-auction will be held from September 24 to 26, with two sessions each day – 11 AM to 12 PM, and 3 PM to 4 PM. Initially, the bidding process will last for one hour. If a higher bid is placed within the final five minutes, the auction will be automatically extended by another five minutes. This process can repeat up to 20 times, extending the auction duration to a maximum of 2 hours and 40 minutes.”

Over 2,000 Applicants Deposit EMD

More than 2,000 people have deposited EMD for the 173 flats available in Dwarka. “We are confident that all flats will be sold easily, as more than 2,000 people have deposited EMD,” a DDA official stated. The official also noted that the sale of flats under the Affordable Housing and Middle-Class Schemes is expected to increase during Navratri.

To date, approximately 1,700 of the 8,967 flats offered by the DDA have been sold.

The official further reported that 41 flats in Jasola were sold on the first day of sales, and over 700 flats in Rohini have been sold within 10 days on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
