DDA Extends Final Instalment Deadline For Dwarka Premium Flats To October 31

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has extended the deadline for the payment of the last instalment of premium flats, located in the region of Dwarka. According to the reports, earlier the last date was set at September 28. Know all the details related to the deadline extension here. The payment will be carried out for 1800 premium flats, which are located in Dwarka 19B. Now, the last instalment date is announced to be October 31. According to the DDA, they made the decision after considering the requests of the buyers for more time to manage their finances, as well as the finishing work being done in the flats. Now, the buyers have over a month to finish off their payments.

As per more details, the owners of the flats from tower A to K had requested more time to complete their payments. The developers required extra time to complete the construction of the apartments. The authorities released a circular on Tuesday, announcing their decision for the deadline extension.

According to the reports, several buyers had expressed dissatisfaction on essential arrangements of the place that are still under construction. It included security, providing electricity, water connections, installing the main entrance gate, construction of recreation areas and more.

The DDA had conducted an e-auction under the Dwarka Housing Scheme, on Tuesday, which received a tremendous response from the buyers. They had put up 173 flats for auction, out of which 10 flats and penthouses were sold. A representative from the authority stated, “In Tuesday’s bidding, there was a penthouse, three Super High-Income Group flats and six HIG flats. These were sold much above the reserved price.” Then on Wednesday, the DDA had put up 17 flats in e-auction, which included 12 HIG and 5 MIG. According to the representative, “All were sold out much above the base price.” As per the reports, the e-auctions were expected to be held from September 24 to September 26.
