The Delhi Police busted an international drug syndicate, seizing over 560 kg of cocaine worth Rs 2,000 crore. Four accused have been arrested.
In a massive breakthrough, the Delhi Police on Wednesday busted an international drug syndicate and seized a big consignment of drugs, weighing more than 500 kgs. The operation was conducted by a special cell of the Delhi Police.
According to news agency ANI, more than 560 kgs of cocaine was seized, the market value of which was more than Rs 2,000 crore.
The drugs were seized from an area in South Delhi, news agency PTI reported.
A narco-terror angle in the case was being investigated, ANI quoted the Delhi Police Special Cell as saying.
Four people were arrested in connection with the case.
The police are expected to address a press conference later today over the case.
