CISF Invites Applications For 1,130 Constable Firemen Posts

Interested aspirants can fill out the applications on the CISF website. Online application registration will start on August 30.

Central Industrial Security Force has announced the recruitment of 1130 Constable Firemen via a notification on August 21, 2024. Interested aspirants can fill out the applications by clicking on the CISF website, i.e.- https://cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in/. As described in the notification, out of 1,130 fire constable vacancies, 466 seats are for the general category. 144 are for the EWS (Economically Weaker Section), 153 Scheduled Caste, 161 Scheduled Tribes and 236 seats are for the OBC (Other Backward Classes). 1. Important Dates

Online application for this vacancy will commence on August 30. The last date to fill out the form and submit the application fee is September 30, 2024. The dates for the exam and the admit card release are yet to be announced. According to a report in the Times of India, these dates will be released soon.

2. Age limit

According to reports, the candidate’s age for this recruitment should be between 18 to 23 years. The ages will be calculated from September 30. Candidates in the SC and ST categories will get a maximum age relaxation of five years and OBC will get three years of relaxation.

3. Selection Process

Selection for the vacancies of the Constable Fireman in CISF will be completed after a physical test, written examination, medical test and document verification. Initially, the candidates will undergo a physical test which includes a physical efficiency test and a physical standards test. After the test, a separate merit list will be released state-wise based on performance in the written examination.

4. Application Fee

The candidates from the General, EWS and OBC categories will have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee for Constable Fireman vacancies. For the SC and ST category candidates, there are no application charges.

5. Qualifying marks

The aspirants from the unreserved and EWS category will have to score at least 35 per cent. For the candidates from the SC/ST category, it is exactly 35 per cent.

6. Salary

Constable Fireman in CISF will get a salary as per Level-3 (Rs 21,700-69,100) pay scale.

7. Instruction

The candidates have been advised to thoroughly read the official notification to understand the state vacancy details. They should also understand the other essential criteria before applying.
