Candidates can now apply for vacancies at Bureau of Indian Standards on the offiicial website – bis.gov.in
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (Department of Consumer Affairs) has commenced the application process for various posts under Groups A, B and C today, September 9, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts on the official website – bis.gov.in till September 30.

The department is conducting the recruitment drive for 345 vacancies under groups A, B and C. Details of the vacancies are as follows

BIS Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 800 for the posts of Assistant Director (Hindi), Assistant Director (Finance) and Assistant Director (Marketing & Consumer Affairs) and Rs 500 for the remaining posts. SCs/STs/PWDs/ Women and BIS-serving employees are exempted from the application fee.
BIS Recruitment 2024: Steps To Apply
Step 1: Visit the official BIS website – bis.gov.in and click on the option “APPLY ONLINE”
Step 2: Now click on the link that reads “Click here for New Registration”
Step 3: Now enter your name, contact details and email. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system
Step 4: Log in with the system-generated registration number and password and fill out the BIS Recruitment 2024 application form
Step 5: Upload all the required documents and pay the application fee
Step 6: Submit the application form and download it for future reference
BIS Recruitment 2024: Direct Link To Apply
The recruitment examination will be held at test centres at 49 locations across the country. The BIS Recruitment Exam 2024 is scheduled to be held tentatively in November. BIS Recruitment Admit Cards 2024 will be available 10 days before the date of examination.
