Bumble User Mistakes Socialist For Social Skills, Internet Responds With Witty One-Liners

Dating apps have revolutionised how people connect, and initiate relationships and are now a need due to their expanding business. The digital romance revolution has transformed the way people meet and interact. Aside from the convenience element, you may select your personality depending on current trends. You can be whoever you want to be on the internet. Even stupid! Similarly, a Bumble user’s bio describing himself as a “socialist” has become popular on social media. Rather than connecting it to the ideas of socialism, the amusing error made the person think that a socialist had to do with personality attributes.

The post also includes a chat with the individual, who explains his position. Talk about confidence!

“So you are a socialist?” is asked of him in the chat.

To which he responds, “Can’t say it’s 50-50. More of an introvert, extrovert with close friends.”

Surprised by his answer, the individual asks him again, “What? You think a socialist is being social?”

A post shared by Emo Bois of India (@emoboisofindia)

The post is accompanied by a humourous caption that read, “Socially anxious at hauz khas social.”

With more than 64,000 likes, the comments section quickly became a punchline parade.

A user commented, “I’M A CAPITALIST, I WRITE IN CAPITAL LETTERS.”

Another added, “I prefer communicating so I am communist.”

A third user said, “I ride an activa, I’m an activist.”

Continuing the laugh riot, a user wrote, “I write with my left hand. I’m a leftist.”

An individual added, “I like her face so I am a fascist?”

“I am sad all the time, so I am a sadist,” read another comment.

This was only one aspect of the dating app. On the other hand, there is a whole different narrative. A woman posted on X a Tinder dating profile that she discovered. In the dating app bio, the user included all of their academic accomplishments rather than emphasising their personality or hobbies.

According to the snapshot, the Tinder user who is seeking a committed relationship disclosed their academic accomplishments under the app’s “About me” section.

The person has provided a comprehensive account of their academic achievements, which include percentages in Classes 10 and 12, JEE Mains and Advanced rankings, NTSE and KVPY scholarships, and a B.Tech in CSE from IIT Bombay. Along with this, the person has disclosed height and current job at Infosys.

Some stated that the person’s personality is centred around academics, while many claimed that the person mistakenly mistook the dating app with LinkedIn.
