The Assam Rifles have released a notification for recruitment, aiming to recruit the youth for various posts. As per the reports, recruitment is being done for the posts of Rifleman and Riflewoman. The last date to apply is in October. To know all the details, read the information below.

According to the notification, 38 vacancies are available for the posts and the last date to apply is October 27. Eligibility Criteria:
Education:
The candidates who are interested in applying should have qualified matriculation or 10th, from a recognised institution. At the time of application, they should have the required education and sports-related certificates.
Age Limit:
The candidate’s age should be between 18 years and 23 years, according to the notification.
Selection Process:
The selection process will include several steps candidate verification, initial documentation, a Physical Standard Test and a field trial. The candidates who will qualify for the field trial in their respective disciplines will have to undergo a Detailed Medical Examination (DME). After that, a merit list will be released, according to the candidates’ ranks. The top performers can anticipate a provisional appointment letter, as per more information on the notification. The first face of recruitment could take place 40 to 60 days to complete.
