Andhra Pradesh Study Circle To Provide Free DSC Exam Training To Minority Students

A total of 200 candidates will receive free training for two months, along with a stipend of Rs 3,000 monthly and study materials worth Rs 1,000.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced free training to candidates preparing for the District Selection Committee (DSC) exam, according to a statement by Andhra Pradesh Study Circle Director K Sridevi. The AP BC Study Circle was accepting applications from eligible candidates belonging to Backward Classes (BC), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST) from the combined Visakhapatnam districts (Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, and Alluri).

Candidates had to submit their applications by July 8. A total of 200 candidates will receive free training for two months, along with a stipend of Rs 3,000 monthly and study materials worth Rs 1,000.

Eligible candidates needed to submit their biodata along with copies of their Class 10 Marks List, Intermediate and Degree Marks List, TTC. List of Marks, TET Qualification Certificate, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate (parents’ annual income below Rs 1 lakh), Aadhaar Card, Bank passbook xerox, and two passport-size photographs by July 8 to the following address: BC Study Circle, Sector-6, Above HDFC Bank Meda, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam 530017.

For additional details, candidates can contact phone number 9492569177. Sridevi suggested that all eligible poor students studying for the DSC should take advantage of this government-provided opportunity, which is completely free of charge.

Last week, the State Education Minister Nara Lokesh directed officials to conduct the Mega DSC transparently without attracting criticism. He discussed with school education officials the conduct of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) and Mega DSC. The candidates had requested to allow more time between TET and Mega DSC. The minister, therefore, suggested officials seek the opinion of candidates, students and youth groups on when to conduct the DSC.

Lokesh refuted the propaganda on social media about the syllabus. He claimed that no changes had been made to the syllabus. He said the officials informed him that they would conduct the exam in July 2024 with the same syllabus with which the TET was conducted in February 2024.

Officials said that details of the syllabus can be found at https://aptet.apcfss.in. They said that no changes have been made to the syllabus. So the claim circulating on social media that the TET will be conducted with the old syllabus is not true.
