The Ambani family is all set for the grand wedding of Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s youngest son Anant Ambani with Radhika Merchant, the younger daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., and entrepreneur Shaila Merchant, on July 12.

• Dhirubhai Ambani & Kokilaben Ambani: Dhirubhai Ambani, founder and chairperson of Reliance Industries Limited, got married to Kokilaben Ambani in 1955. The couple had four children — Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Nina Ambani, and Dipti Ambani. In 1957, Dhirubhai returned to India and started a yarn trading business in Mumbai. He decided to hand over Reliance Industries Limited to his sons Mukesh and Anil after suffering from a stroke in 1996. On July 6, 2002, Dhirubhai Ambani died due to a major stroke.
• Mukesh Ambani & Nita Ambani: Mukesh Ambani is the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited. He married Nita Ambani in 1985. The couple has three children — Isha Ambani, Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani.
• Akash Ambani & Shloka Mehta: Akash Ambani serves as the chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm. He married Shloka Mehta, daughter of business tycoon Russel Mehta and Mona Mehta, in 2019. They couple are parents to Prithvi and Veda.
• Isha Ambani & Anand Piramal: Isha Ambani is part of the executive leadership teams as a Member of the Board at Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, Jio Financial Services Limited and Reliance Foundation (RF), Reliance Foundation Institution of Education and Research, and Dhirubhai Ambani International School. • Anil Ambani & Tina Ambani: Anil Ambani, chairman of the Reliance ADA Group, married former Bollywood actress Tina Munim in 1991. Tina Munim serves as the Chairperson of Reliance Group, the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, the Harmony for Silvers Foundation, and the Harmony Art Foundation. They have two children — Jai Anmol Ambani and Jai Anshul Ambani.
• Nina Kothari: Anil and Mukesh’s sister Nina Kothari carved her own niche by becoming the Chairman of Kothari Sugars and Chemicals Limited. Her spouse, businessman Bhadrashyam Kothari, died of cancer in 2015. She has two children — Arjun and Nayantara Kothari.
• Dipti Ambani: Dipti Ambani, the younger sister, married Dattaraj Salgaocar who runs VM Salgaocar Group of Companies, according to several media reports. The corporation primarily deals with iron ore, coal, and wind energy. They have a daughter, Ishika Salgaocar, and a son, Vikram Salgaocar.
