In a shocking incident, a man was brutally thrashed by a miscreant a day after the former allegedly asked the latter not to urinate in a park in Delhi’s Model Town area. The whole incident which took place on Friday, was captured on a nearby CCTV camera.
According to reports, the incident took place on Friday when the victim, Ramfal, was sleeping on the footpath and the accused, Aryan, came there on a bike with two other people and started beating Ramfal.
In the video, the assailant, wearing a white shirt and black pants, gets off the bike, goes to the sleeping man and wakes him up. He then starts beating him up with a stick while his friends remain on the bike, watching the attack unfold.

After assaulting him for about 20 seconds, the miscreant starts retreating but then suddenly returns and hits the victim again for another 20 seconds. He later then fled on the bike with his two friends.
In the initial probe after analysing the CCTV footage, the police found out that Aryan worked as a servant at a house in the same area where the incident took place. On Thursday, he was urinating in the open near a park when the victim, Ramfal, who worked at a nearby shop, tried to convince him to stop. An argument ensued between the two, and a day later, Aryan, showed up with his friends to beat up Ramfal.
The police have registered a case against Aryan under sections of assault and fighting and arrested him. However, he was later granted bail and got released.
