SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Key 2024 Objection Window Extended Till October 8

The SSC CGL 2024 provisional answer key is now available at the official website – ssc.gov.in.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has extended the deadline for raising objections to the provisional answer key of the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2024 Tier 1. Applicants can now submit their challenges via the official website, ssc.gov.in, until October 8. This extension comes in response to a high volume of traffic on the server.

The official notification reads, “However, it has been observed that due to heavy load on the server, the response time of the system is slightly longer. It has accordingly been decided to extend the last date up to which the facility will be live from 06.10.2024 (06:00 PM) to 08.10.2024 (06:00 PM). All other terms and conditions mentioned in the Notice dated 03.10.2024 remain the same.”

Earlier, the deadline to raise the objections against the provisional answer key was October 6.

How to raise objections against the SSC CGL Answer Key 2024:

Step 1: Navigate to the official website, ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, click on the login tab and key in your credentials.

Step 3: Next up, go to the My Applications tab and click on the answer key challenge.

Step 4: Raise your challenge by selecting the question ID and uploading supportive documents.

Step 5: Make the payment

Step 6: Review your challenge and click on submit.

The provisional answer key allows candidates to review their answers and raise concerns before the final results are announced. Candidates need to submit their challenges by paying a fee of Rs 100 per question.

This year, the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was administered from September 9 to 26. The question paper was divided into four sections, each containing 25 questions worth 50 marks. For every right answer, the candidates will be awarded two marks, while 0.50 marks will be deducted for any wrong attempts.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 final results will be generated after the experts examine the objections raised by the candidates against the provisional answer key. Shortlisted applicants will be eligible to take the SSC CGL Tier 2 examination in December 2024.

For any additional information, candidates are advised to visit the official website, ssc.gov.in.
