JNVST Admission 2024: Registration Begins For JNV Class 9, 11, Lateral Entry Selection Test

JNVST Admission 2024: The entrance exam for classes 9th and 11th will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Disabled students will get 50 minutes of extra time

Registration for the Lateral Entry Selection Test 2025 in classes 9th and 11th in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) has commenced on the official website at cbseitms.nic.in. According to the official notification, the last date for registration is October 30, 2024. The entrance exam for classes 9 and 11 will be conducted on February 8, 2025, from 11 am to 1.30 pm.

JNVST 2025: Documents Required For Admission

— Signature of candidate

— Parent’s signature

— Candidate’s photograph

— ID proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card

— Residence certificate, issued by a competent government authority

— Certificate signed by parent and candidate and verified by the headmaster

JNVST Class 9, 11, Lateral Entry Selection Test Admission 2025: How to Apply?

Step 1: Go to the official website, which is, navodaya.gov.in.

Step 2: Search for and click on the application link on the homepage.

Step 3: Click to register yourself and fill in the required information.

Step 4: Scan and upload the relevant documents and pay the prescribed fees.

Step 5: Once done, cross-check the details and submit the JNVST Class 9, 11 application form.

Step 6: Save a copy of the form and print a hard copy of the same for future reference.

JNVST Class 9, 11, Lateral Entry Selection Test Admission 2025: Exam Details, Selection Process

The entrance exam for classes 9th and 11th will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Disabled students will get 50 minutes of extra time. A total of 100 objective-type questions will be asked in the exam. In the entrance exam for class 9, as many as 15 questions will be asked in English, 15 from Hindi, 35 from Mathematics, and 25 from General Science.

Similarly, in the entrance exam for class 11th, questions will be asked about Mental Ability, English, Science, Social Science, and Mathematics. 20 questions will be asked from each subject. The entrance exam for class 11th will also be of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
