Jobs for Indians in Israel: Vacancies for Construction Workers in Four Categories; Check Application Process

Workers who know iron bending, ceramic tile installation and plastering are being sent to Israel, where they will be provided with employment opportunities

The Employment Department in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad is offering youth the opportunity to work in Israel. Interested and eligible candidates must first register, and can then apply online by contacting the Employment Department.

Talking to News18, Moradabad District Employment Officer Sushil Kumar said that a contract has been signed between the Government of India and Israel to employ workers in the construction sector.

Under this contract, the NSDC is the designated implementing agency, sending workers in four categories to Israel by establishing a relationship with Israel’s PIBA (Population and Immigration Authority). Workers in the categories of framework or shuttering carpenter, iron bending, ceramic tile installation, and plastering are being sent to Israel, where they will be provided with employment opportunities.

District Employment Officer Sushil Kumar stated that specific qualifications have been set for workers being sent to Israel. Applicants should be between 25 and 35 years old, possess a passport with at least three years of validity, and have a minimum of three years of experience in the relevant trade.

Apart from this, workers are being sent to Israel with the conditions that they should not have worked in the same country before. Interested construction workers must register as job seekers on the integrated portal of the Employment Department at rojgaarsangam.up.gov.in.

District Employment Officer Sushil Kumar further said that the screening process is the first step in selecting workers to be sent to Israel. Following this, RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) will be conducted for those who pass the free screening.

Professional tests will be conducted by the Israeli institution PIBA (Population, Immigration, and Border Authority) for selecting RPL-certified workers. Additionally, police verification and medical checks will be performed for those who pass this test.

It’s important to note that the pre-screening RPL process does not guarantee selection for recruitment in Israel, it is merely a stage in the overall selection process by the company. The Employment Office’s role is to provide qualified construction workers to the Israeli institution for this process, and workers will be informed once it is completed.
