Chander Prakash revealed in the show that he is presently preparing for the UPSC examination. When Amitabh Bachchan asked what he does, the contestant shared that he is presently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economics along with his UPSC preparations. He is reportedly pursuing his Master’s degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and usually spends most of the time preparing for the toughest exam in the country. He mentioned that his ultimate goal is to crack the examination and join the civil services.

The 22-year-old contestant from Jammu & Kashmir mentioned in the show that he has faced numerous challenges since his birth. He explained that upon his birth, doctors found that he had a blockage. The doctors immediately conducted the surgery to cure the newborn baby. Following this, his parents thought that he had recovered, but the medicines highly affected his kidney, leaving little hope for him to even get out of bed. He added that as his parents faced financial issues, the insurance companies refused to help in this matter. Despite all odds, his parents managed to get him treated, visiting countless hospitals.

You can watch KBC 16 on Sony Entertainment Television from 9 pm onwards on all weekdays. The 16th season started its journey on August 12.
