100 Days Of Modi 3.0: PM’s Visit To Russia, Ukraine, Singapore, Poland & More

PM Modi's key international engagements include significant visits to Russia and Ukraine during the conflict, participation in the G-7 Summit in Italy, and being awarded the 'Order of St. Andrew the Apostle' during his visit to Russia

The first 100 days of the Modi 3.0 government saw key steps in the foreign policy.

President Droupadi Murmu was honored with Fiji’s highest civilian award, the ‘Order of Fiji’ and Timor-Leste’s ‘Order of Timor-Leste’.

Murmu was conferred the Companion of the Order of Fiji, as she hailed the ties between the two countries and said India stands ready to partner with Fiji to build a stronger, resilient, and more prosperous nation. “President Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere of Fiji conferred the Companion of the Order of Fiji upon President Droupadi Murmu. This is the highest civilian award of Fiji,” the President’s Office said in a post on X.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed President Droupadi Murmu on being honoured with the Grand-Collar of the Order of Timor-Leste and said that it reflects the strong ties and mutual respect between the two countries.

PM Modi’s key international engagements include significant visits to Russia and Ukraine during the conflict, participation in the G-7 Summit in Italy, and being awarded the ‘Order of St. Andrew the Apostle’ during his visit to Russia.

In June, Modi met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the G7 Summit in Japan. This meeting was significant, as Modi not only expressed India’s humanitarian support for Ukraine but also emphasised the need for dialogue and peace. India made it clear it was ready to be part of the solution, not just a bystander. Then, in August, Modi went to Kyiv in Ukraine to meet Zelenskyy once again.

PM Modi’s visits to Singapore and Brunei Darussalam marked the first-ever visit by an Indian Prime Minister.

After 41 years, an Indian Prime Minister visited Austria, and after 45 years, visited Poland.

India hosted the third ‘Voice of the Global South’ Summit with over 120 countries participating.

For the first time, India hosted the UNESCO World Heritage Committee meeting.
