Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has released a short notice for the recruitment of PRT, TGT and PGT teachers; the application window opened on 09 September 2024. Candidates who wish to teach in Army schools can check the recruitment details here. AWES has released a short notice for the recruitment of various teaching posts (PGT, TGT and PRT) in around 136 Army Public Schools across India. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers who wish to teach in Army Public Schools. As per the notice, the authority will accept online applications for PGT, TGT and PRT teachers from 9 September 2024 to 25 October 2024. The number of vacancies is not known, as the authority has not yet released a detailed notice. The detailed notification will be available on the official website of AWES on 9 September 2024.
Age Limit
Applicants having more than 5 years of experience should be below 57 years of age, while fresh applicants having less than 5 years of experience should be below 40 years of age.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates applying for the postgraduate teacher must have completed the two-year integrated PG courses at the Regional Colleges of Education of NCERT in the respective subjects with a minimum of 50% marks or must have completed a PG course with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent BEd/MEd course or must have obtained a Masters degree in the respective subject from a recognised university.
Candidates for the post of Graduate Teacher must have obtained a Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university and a BEd degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised educational institute.
Candidates applying for the post of Primary Teacher must have completed a Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks in BEd/ DEl Ed/ JBT with a minimum of 50% marks or must have completed a BEd and a six-month PDPET/ Bridge course from a recognised NCERT College of Education.
Candidates applying for PRT and TGT posts are required to clear CTET/TET as per NCTE guidelines.
Army Public School Application Fee 2024-25
Candidates who wish to apply for Army Public School Teachers Recruitment 2024-25 are required to pay the following application fee based on their category:
UR/OBC/EWS – Rs 385
SC/ST/PwD – Rs 385
The AWES will conduct the online screening test as the first stage of the selection process for the PRT, PGT and TGT papers. As per the short notice, the AWES plans to conduct the OST exam on 23 November and 24 November 2024.
Army Public School Admit Card & Result 2024-25
The Admit Card/Hall Ticket for the APS OST exam is very important to know the exam centre and to get into the exam hall. Candidates can download the Admit Card from 12th November 2024 onwards from the official website of AWES.
The AWES will release the result on the official website soon after the OST exam. Candidates can check their results through their AWES registration numbers for PRT, TGT and PGT 2024. The OST exam result 2024 may be announced in a month or two.
