The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) released the round 3 seat allotment list on August 27. Candidates who have enrolled for the counselling can view the cut-off and seat allocation results on the official website, bhu.ac.in. The last date to pay the admission fees is today, August 30.
“All allocated students will get the payment link. Allocated students must follow the payment deadline as mentioned above, failing which their candidature shall be cancelled and will be out from subsequent rounds of allocation,” reads the official notice.
BHU Round 3 Seat Allotment Result 2024: How To Check?
Step 1. Go to bhucuet.samarth.edu.in or bhu.ac.in, the BHU official website.
Step 2. Log in after entering the candidate’s User ID and Password, and click “Submit.”
Step 3. On the webpage, click the link titled “BHU UG 2024 Round 3 Cut-Off.”
Step 4. The outcome of the seat allocation will be shown on the screen.
Step 5. Examine and save the page for your records.
Step 6. For later use, download and keep a physical copy.
BHU had earlier announced that it would use the CUET 2024 score for admission to UG programmes. The institution had said that the National Testing Agency (NTA) scores are used to determine the merit list, taking into account the qualifying requirements particular to each programme.
It is to be noted that 20 per cent of the vacant seats of UG courses at Banaras Hindu University were vacant after the first two rounds of counselling. Last year, after six rounds of cutoff and mop-up round, seats in many courses remained vacant. But this year it is expected that all the seats of UG courses will be filled in the third round.
According to data, there are a total of 8894 seats in UG in BHU and its affiliated colleges. Out of these, 7712 seats are regular and the rest are paid seats. Central Admission Committee Chairman Prof. Bhaskar Bhattacharya said that this time around 800 seats are vacant in UG courses due to which the third list has been released.
