KSET 2024 Registration Date Extended to Tomorrow, How to Apply

The KSET 2024 exam will be conducted on November 24 from 10 am to 1 pm in a single shift

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has extended the application deadline for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2024. The last date to apply for the examination is tomorrow, August 28. Candidates can apply through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The KSET 2024 exam will be conducted on November 24 from 10 am to 1 pm in a single shift.

Moreover, as per the official notification, the last date for payment of online fees is August 30. It further advises candidates to go through the detailed notification of July 13 for other information related to eligibility criteria and other exam details.

KSET 2024: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Navigate to the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, look for the KSET 2024 Application link and click on it.

Step 3: Log in to the portal using the required credentials.

Step 4: Fill in the application form carefully.

Step 5: Upload the necessary documents.

Step 6: Pay the application fee and click on submit.

Step 7: Download a hard copy of the KSET 2024 registration form for future reference.

KSET 2024: Application Fee

To apply for the Karnataka SET 2024 exam, General, Cat-IIА, ІІВ, ІІIА, ІІІВ and Other State candidates have to deposit a fee of Rs 1,000, while aspirants belonging to the Cat-I, SC, ST, PwD and Transgender categories need to pay Rs 700. As per the revised schedule, the last day to pay the registration fee is August 30.

Candidates who have scored a minimum of 55 per cent marks in the general category and 50 per cent marks for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Transgender and Other Backward Classes (OBC), specifically Category-I, Category-IIA, Category-IIB, Category-IIIA and Category-IIIB in a Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities or institutions recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) New Delhi, in the subjects opted for KSE, are eligible to apply. Notably, there is no upper age limit for applying.

The Karnataka SET exam is conducted for candidates seeking eligibility for the positions of Lecturers or Assistant Professors in universities, colleges, and institutions across the state.
