COMEDK Counselling 2024: Round 3 Choice-Filling Window Opens For Over 18,900 Vacant Seats

The last date to edit the preferred choices of programmes and colleges for COMEDK Counselling Round 3 is August 28, 2024.

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has opened the choice-filling/ edit window for counselling round 3 for engineering courses on August 26. Candidates can complete or edit the choice-filling process on the official website- comedk.org. The last date to edit the preferred choices of programmes and colleges is August 28, 2024.

The COMEDK round 3 allotment results will be declared on August 30 at 4 pm and candidates. Candidates will be required to make their decision regarding the allotted college and complete the fee payment by September 2 at 2 pm. Candidates will have to report to the allotted colleges between 4 pm on August 30 and 3 pm on September 6, 2024.

“Candidates with Accept and Upgrade or Reject and Upgrade status in Round 3 will get the option of “Accept and Freeze” only and have to join the allotted college. There is no option to cancel the seat in Round 3 and there will be no refund of the entire fee paid at COMEDK,” the COMEDK website stated.

COMEDK Counselling 2024: Vacant seats

A total of 18, 922 seats are vacant in engineering colleges for round 3 of COMEDK Counselling 2024. Candidates participating in Round 3 will not have the option to cancel their seats or quit the counselling. They have to accept the seat allotted and report to the allotted college.

COMEDK Counselling 2024: Documents Required

1) Candidate Original ID proof: PAN/Passport/Voter Id/ Driving License/ Any other Government ID proof (as declared in the application form)

2) Date of Birth Proof of Candidate: PAN/Passport/VoterId/Driving License/ Any other Government id Proof/ 10th Marks Card/ Birth Certificate

3) PUC/ 12th Std or equivalent Marks Card: (Do not crop top and bottom of the marks card.

4) Admit Card or Hall ticket information of 12/2nd PUC/Equivalent exam (IF APPLICABLE): Candidates marks card is verified on their respective board website. Candidates are requested to upload their admit card. However, if admit card is not available then write your admit card information like Roll Number, number, Admit card ID number etc., clearly in capital letters on a sheet of paper and upload the same.

6) Improvement or Supplementary/Compartment Marksheet or any other document (If applicable)

7) SC/ST/OBC Certificate: Applicable only if you have scored between 40 to 45% in 12th grade/2nd PUC/Equivalent and you are a Domicile of Karnataka

8) Domicile Certificate: Candidates claiming SC/ST/OBC category should upload the Karnataka Domicile Certificate

Candidates applying for the Kalyana Karnataka Region (KKR) SEAT will need to produce a Kalyana Karnataka Region (HK region) Certificate issued by Asst. Commissioner in charge of Revenue and Karnataka Domicile Certificate issued by Revenue authority, not below the rank of Tahsildar along with the above-mentioned documents.
