The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will roll out the round 1 seat allotment results for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) for MBBS and BDS admissions today, August 23. Once the results are made available, aspirants can visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in and check the MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 seat allotment. As per schedule, the Medical Counselling Committee will finish the seat allotment procedure by August 22.
The committee will conduct the NEET UG counselling for 15 per cent of All India Quota seats in four rounds. It is to be noted that the registration for MBBS and BDS admissions began for all qualified candidates who enrolled and cleared the NEET UG exam held by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 1 Allotment Result: How to Download
Step 1: Go to the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: From the homepage, click on the UG Counselling tab.
Step 3: Click the link for the Round 1 allotment results.
Step 4: Log in using your NEET UG roll number and password.
Step 5: Download the NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 1 allotment letter for admissions.
The last date for NEET choice filling and locking was extended by a day till August 21. Candidates were given the chance to add, modify, delete and rearrange the order of preference submitted by them. However, MCC cautioned students that if they fail to complete the choice filling or registration process, they will not be considered for allotment.

NEET UG 2024 counselling will be administered by MCC in four rounds, one of which would be a stray vacancy round for vacant seats. The All India Quota will be the primary focus of this phase, however state-level counselling will be used to fill the remaining 85% of MBBS and BDS seats. Candidates are encouraged to finish their registration and selection process for respective rounds as soon as possible in order to obtain a place at their preferred university.
